Welcome to Baseball Training Methods! Your baseball strength and conditioning is about to take a turn for the better.

I know what it’s like to try to stay in shape for baseball while balancing school and life. I know what it’s like to have great coaches, plenty of training equipment, and a well thought out baseball training program. I also know what it’s like to have limited time, equipment, and coaching direction.

You CAN complete your own baseball training and prepare for the on-field demands of the game with limited time and equipment. Will it be easy? Of course not. But nothing ever worth doing is. Let Baseball Training Methods help you take the guesswork out of your baseball strength and conditioning program.

Train for the Season

Baseball players cannot expect to get in “baseball shape” and stay in shape by just playing the game. Their coaches should not expect the same either. There needs to be consistent effort day in and day out. Off-season, pre-season, and in-season baseball workouts need to be implemented for the ballplayer to achieve the best results possible.

Understandably, there are thousands of teams playing in thousands of leagues that start at various times throughout the year. And teams will finish their seasons at different times depending on post-season success.

To that end, you will find baseball workouts posted weekly here on the Baseball Training Methods website. Depending on the season, there may be only 2 workouts posted. Other times, up to 4 or 5.

Understanding the BTM Workouts

Each posted baseball training workout/program will have some descriptions to help you navigate the pacing and flow of the workout. However, you will see the following in most, if not all, of the posted workouts:

  • Soft Tissue Work
  • Pre-hab
  • Dynamic Warm-up
  • Exercises/Movements
  • Post-training Stretching
